And it is in Spain. The Costa del Sol is truly living up to its name.
My 2018 travels have started much later than I planned and I still haven’t kicked the annoying cough. Drinking lots of tea seems to help though and, as you might guess, I find that such a hardship.
Anyway, I’m going to hang out in Spain for a couple of weeks with no major plans. I like the Spanish rail system so I’m going to be going here, there and everywhere to see what I can find. And hopefully I will find it drenched in sunshine.
Getting here was not totally fun. I normally avoid early morning flights as just not worth it but in this instance the 06:30 flight was unfortunately the best option. I did stay in an airport hotel the night before so I didn’t get up till 04:00 but still. The bonus was that I got to see the sunrise. On a plane. So that was good.
And I bought a new yoga mat yesterday so I’m doing okay on the resolutions so far. So here’s to making 2018 a great year!
