So I’ve had my usual summer hiatus from blogging. I really think I’m messing something up in the way I organize my life because I’m always crazy busy in the summer and don’t have time to travel and have tons of free time on my hands in winter when, in the Northern hemisphere at least, there are far fewer daylight hours for me to get out and about to see and do things.
But, anyway, I’m off on my adventures again. And I should probably say thank you to some friends for making the decision to get married and, as a happy consequence, giving me a good reason to get out of the house and get moving.
The next few weeks are mostly about seeing friends and catching up on a few things but I will manage to do some sightseeing and I have some lovely train journeys planned so I’m promising myself I will just sit and stare out of the window instead of trying to use the time productively.
From September, life should calm down a little and I have a few catch-up blog posts planned, if you can wait that long…
