How I start the day has a big effect on how the day seems to go. I consider myself to be a morning person. I like to get up early and watch the world wake up, I just don’t always manage it. When I make the effort though I have moments like this sitting down by the lake watching the sun rise over the hills.
I’m more productive in the morning and I think I get my best work done before 10am (although that could also be because there are fewer interruptions at work early in the morning). I will be leaving my job soon though and then all my time will be my own. As I travel, I will try to work on my blog in the mornings as that is often when I am my most creative. I’m really looking forward to writing regularly again as, in recent years, life just seems to have got in the way.
The picture above reminds me why I love living where I do. And it does make me wonder whether I’m crazy to be leaving. But I guess that I’m just swapping that view of a sunrise for lots of different ones.
