So, I’m back on the road. And, of all the places in the world I could be, I’m in Manchester…how cool is that?
I admit the adventure is starting slowly. I went to a show at The Lowry this evening and plan to spend tomorrow seeing family but on Thursday I shall catch a plane and go to foreign places. I plan to visit six countries, four of which I’ve never been to before. (Disclaimer: I actually have nothing booked after May 9 so at the moment it is just guesswork where I’ll end up. It’s not called an adventure for nothing!)
The plan, such as it is, is to spend May meandering along the Dalmatian coast to find beautiful beaches, towns and food. I’m looking forward to visiting Slovenia and particularly Lake Bled, and will hopefully end up in Austria sometime in June. But who knows. As well as having nothing booked, I don’t have an end date. I need to be in London in July to see Cursed Child but I’m free until then.
I’m so excited to be off on another adventure, especially as I’m not sure where this one will take me. But I’ll try and take lots of pretty pictures.
