One year ago today something completely unexpected happened. So many little things had to line up for me to be in the right place at the right time (or at least in that place at that time).
It brought new adventures into my life and new friends and it helped me see certain things more clearly. One of my friends has a theory that the right people come into your life at the right time and that they don’t necessarily have to be part of it forever. But it’s definitely true that over the last year I’ve had the people I’ve needed, some old, some new, to bring me to where I am today. (Not literally, I got to Berlin all by myself!) And once again I have been reminded that I have the most amazing friends.
I do like to evaluate things on an annual basis, normally around New Year’s Eve, but that one little moment a year ago had a bigger effect than I could ever have guessed at the time. And not one I could have predicted. But it led me to today and I already know that one year from now my life will look very different. I have a plan.
