After a few days family time, I’m heading off in search of some sunshine. A few days on the French Riviera to recharge my batteries and get myself ready for some more adventures is just what I need right now. (Although due to my customary clumsiness, I’m currently nursing a sprained ankle and so there may be more R&R than adventures this week!)
What with one thing and another I have been very quiet on the blogging front recently so I do have a lot to catch up on. It’s been a busy year and it’s about to get busier. I’m going to be pretty much always on the move between now and the end of the year – people to see, things to do – and I already have some exciting plans for 2018 (which is now a lot closer than I expected it to be).
Travel is definitely a full-time job, what with booking transport, transfers and accommodation, working out what see, do and eat, and then beginning the process all over again for the next destination. But, yes, I love it. I’ve been stationary for too long and I need to get moving again.
