I found myself in Cardiff with a few hours to spare so I did what any girl would do – visited the Doctor Who Experience
Reached by a pleasant walk along the side of Cardiff Bay with the added bonus of passing the Wales Millenium Centre, the Welsh Assembly and the Norwegian Church en route, it was impossible to miss the aircraft hangar-sized structure.
There were two parts to the visit – the first the Doctor Who Experience itself (which I apparently I am not allowed to talk about so people can experience it for themselves) and the second an exhibition of sets, props and costumes covering the whole history of Doctor Who.

My visit to the Doctor Who Experience certainly confirmed one thing: whilst as a child I hid from Daleks behind the sofa, as an adult (well, kind of!) I am absolutely terrified of Weeping Angels.
