Conclusions about Morocco

Lenny February 9, 2016 Musings, Planning 2 Comments 3577 Views

After an inauspicious start, I think I fell slightly in love with Morocco.  And I think I need to go back…

I didn’t have time to do a desert tour and there are lots of other places I would like to visit.  I have seen so many beautiful pictures of Chefchaouen and I’d love to visit Essaouira.  Then there’s Rabat and Meknès and Tangier and the Atlas Mountains and… (Does anyone have anything else that I should add to the list?)

This is, of course, my never-ending problem – the more places I visit, the more things I find to add to my (already unassailable) list of things to do.  I’ve made the shift in my life to give myself the flexibility and the time to start crossing things off said list but I’m finding it really tough to focus.  I may as well close my eyes and just stick a pin in the map, my decision-making process wouldn’t be any less rigorous than the one I’m following right now!

At least I can say I’ve crossed off Casablanca, Fez and Marrakech, although obviously I wouldn’t rule out revisiting any of them.  That’s my problem with trying to see everything I want to see, I also love to go back and visit old favorites.  That’s one reason I plan to go back to San Francisco this year.

Anyway, this is going to be my last post on Morocco, I promise.  I hope that you have enjoyed reading about my trip.  Next time I will write about something completely different.
